Hunt

After the deployment of biological weapons during the world war, the world plunged into an abyss of despair. Cities crumbled into desolate ruins, where the pitiful remnants of humanity cowered among twisted metal and shattered walls.

Decades of unchecked biological chaos reshaped all living things beyond recognition. The descendants of those few who survived the epicenter of the biological attack were no longer human. Their bones and tissues became grotesquely distorted, their blood and marrow blackened and thickened to a viscous, oil-like substance. They gained inhuman speed, endurance, and strength, but at the cost of their sanity, which dissolved into primal madness.

Those who had the fortune to be far from the explosion fared better, yet even they were not spared entirely. Generations of exposure to radiation gave rise to grotesque mutations, twisting the familiar human form into monstrous parodies of itself. Only a rare few were born untainted by deformity. In this grim world, life lost its sanctity, and death became an ever-present companion.

Yet the immense strength and speed of the new mutants stirred dangerous envy among the remnants of humanity. The ruling elite, consumed by a fervent desire to attain such power and escape the afflictions of age and disease, devised a plan. They assembled their most skilled warriors to capture a mutant alive.

After decades of brutal experimentation, a serum was finally developed—one that could enhance endurance and speed in humans. Initial trials yielded extraordinary results, but the euphoria was short-lived. The scientists soon discovered the serum’s insidious nature—it fostered a devastating and unbreakable addiction. Thus were born the first "dirty injections."

The world no longer belonged to mankind. Every day was a desperate battle for survival, every moment a futile search for meaning amidst the reigning chaos. The weak were swept away like debris in a storm, while the strong climbed ever higher over the bodies of the fallen.

This was the dawn of humanity’s great decline.
